Learn More 1964 The Arribas brothers were handpicked by the Spanish government to showcase their craft at The World’s Fair in New York, leading to Walt Disney’s discovery of their art. 1967 Arribas was founded by Tomas, Alfonso, and Manuel Arribas with the establishment of their maiden shop within the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland California. 1971 Arribas quickly expanded, opening the Crystal Arts boutique on Main Street, USA in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. 1983 Arribas debuted its first international boutique, The Glass Slipper, in Tokyo Disneyland. 1992 Arribas celebrated the opening of its first boutique in Euro Disney Park. 2016 Miguel Arribas created and donated the Arribas’ Fantasy Castle, a record-setting masterpiece created using nearly 500,000 glass loops and spires made with 24-karat gold, to the Shanghai Museum of Glass to mark its fifth anniversary. Today Arribas has established a global presence with its expansion to 24 locations across Disney Parks worldwide.
